However if I then open one of these desktop jpegs in Photoshop CC and go to the "Image > Image Size" the Image Size dialogue box opens and shows an "Image Size" that can be between 3Mb to 6 Mb instead of the actual desktop "file size" of 2Mb.Ĭan anyone explain why Photoshop "Image size" dialogue displays a value that is so much bigger than the actual desktop "file size". On rechecking the file size after the export using "Finder > File > Get Info" I find that indeed the jpeg "file size" has been limited to just on (or just under) the 2Mb I required. ![]() I have been ticking the "Limit File Size To:" and limiting the file size to 2Mb. I have been exporting DNG files from Lightroom 6 to my Mac desktop as jpegs using the Lightroom Export dialogue process. ![]()
